Here’s an idea on how the process plays out on most design projects…
-
The purpose of this phase is to get to know one another and establish a firm understanding of what is required for the project. This includes getting a solid understanding of your requirements, budget and timeline so we can determine the feasibility of your project.
Once we’ve established how your project will run we work on getting the overall look and feel of your project together.
We come to you with a concept presentation which may include mood boards, design inspiration, sketches and samples of materials and finishes. Together we review and refine what works for you and what needs further thought.
Stage 1 - Initial Consultation on site
Stage 2 - Briefing, Concept & Schematic
-
With your feedback and approval, we move forward to detail your project further. For us, this involves plenty of research, planning and design thinking to ensure we have all we need to complete a smooth build.
We will be working with trades, specialists and craftsman to refine your budget to keep us on track within the overall project.
Stage 3 - Design Development
Stage 4 - Design Documentation
Stage 5 - Tender & Estimation
Deliverables - Technical Drawing Package, FF&E Schedules, Budget Estimate
-
Now, the moment you have been waiting, saving and planning for. We execute all the details of the design to make sure your project is exactly as you imagined. This includes corresponding with trades and specialists on any issues that arise on site so you can have peace of mind.
Stage 6 - Design Management (Build + Procurement)
Stage 7 - Handover
Deliverables - Request for Information (RFIs), Site Visits
